How to set up VXDIAG Benz C6 XDOS and Update Firmware

How-to: set up/configure XENTRY XDOS diagnostic software and update firmware of VXDIAG Benz C6 DoIP multi tool.

VXDIAG Benz C6 configuration step

Note: before using XENTRY software, you need to configure the diagnostic device by following these steps

1. Configure diagnostic device, select XENTRY Diagnosis VCI

2. Click on configuration

3. Click on Continue

4. Click on Continue

5. Unable to detect StartKey. click enter StartKey manually

6. Save Key and click apply and continue

7. Click Application and continue

8. Configuration complete, click exit

Complete configuration needs to restart the computer!
Successful configuration and normal device connection will display this icon on the desktop or taskbar

VXDIAG C6 Benz DoIP Update step

Once the XENTRY XDOS software installation is configured, install the VX Manager client and perform the following steps
1. Upgrade VCX firmware version to latest version

2. Update DoIP firmware version to latest version

3. Install BENZ C6 driver

Now VXDIAG C6 XENTRY XDOS scanner is ready to use.

VXDIAG and Original IDS Program Ford Focus PCM and Add Key

VXDIAG VCX Plus Ford multi tool is verified working no issue with original IDS license.

Tested model:

Ford Focus year 2013 2.0L gasoline

Intention:

Reprogram PCM after replacement and program PATS key

Connect VXDIAG Ford VCi with vehicle via OBD socket

Read vehicle information

Select module programming

The PCM installed to this vehicle is blank. Enter the VIN on the next screen

Gathering vehicle data

Turn on ignition switch

PCM Module programming in progress

Turn ignition to the ON position

Enter PATS Security access

Advanced key code Erase and Program

Program additional key

Parameter reset (BCM and PCM)

Parameter reset (BCM and RFA)

Program additional transponder key (for remote start installations only)

You will need 2 keys to start the vehicle

Program first transponder key
Put key in slot on steering column

Operation success

Follow same step to program next key until success

Check vehicle information and test the new key.

Part 1: Porsche Piwis 3 Diagnostics:

Here, connect to the ECU and select “Manual model line selection”.

Part 2:Piwis 3 Engineer software

Go to System for Diagnostics configuration for 991,981, 918, 970, Cayenne from MY11, Macan

– Version information

– Mode options – E refers to Engineering

– Choose “E” for the engineering version

Note that, after you change the mode to “E” and want to enter to change to other mode you will be disallowed, you need to restart the software. This is another difference between the PIWIS tester III and II. The developer claims to make a normal mode and develop mode for switch as free as you like.
